What do I pay visitor’s tax for?
Based on the law approved by the municipal assembly and the government, the municipality levies a guest and tourism tax. The basic idea of this tax is the following:
In Flims, guests have access to a wide range of infrastructure for relaxing and active leisure time. A hiking trail network of over 200 km, benches, playgrounds, the guest information office, the Arena Shuttle and much more can be used by guests free of charge. It is in the guests’ interest that these facilities are maintained, cared for and kept clean. The funds required for this are provided by the guest and tourism taxes. Unfortunately, these are not sufficient, and the municipality has to pay the remaining amount from its regular budget.
What temperatures can I expect?
Are the shared bathrooms separated for women and men?
The mountains are fresh, and our house operates without central heating. To keep you comfortable, we provide blankets, hot-water bottles and heaters. In winter, we recommend bringing warm clothing – this will make your stay even cosier.
Yes – our shared bathrooms are divided into separate areas for ladies and gentlemen so everyone can feel comfortable.
